Toffee has become well and truly part of the family now, and that is official as she has been accepted by Jack. He wasn't too sure about dogs and does not like our 2 Flat Coated Retrievers whatsoever! I think his vision impairment must make it very difficult to work out what they are and Trouper and Brandy are way too excited for him to even pat them quietly and figure it all out. However, little Toff has come to realise that Jack is a bit different to Lucy and she really is great with him. She does treat him as a speed hump occasionally but is mostly very gentle with him and is quite happy to sit still while he pats her. He would get quite anxious even with Angel, Jazmyn's dog but there is none of that any more with Toffee. It is such a wonderful thing to see.Toffee also had her first bath, right after the kids did one night as she loves standing up against the bath watching them so I showed her what it was all about. You can probably tell from the look on her face, she wasn't overly impressed!
I'm thinking this little addition to the family was a good idea after all... if only we could get the toilet training right!!
Jaz is still suppose to be a little girl. She is very beautiful. That is great that Toffee is great around Jack. Especially for a puppy. Lucy looks so grown up. Good to hear from you and see updated pics.
